The hotel is not exactly pricey but faces strong competition from many new hotels in Malacca town. Services and amenities can be improved to increase value for money. I could adjust the temperature to my liking in the room, just like the first time I checked in. The room was ready upon my arrival.

I booked a family suite which turned out to be neat and tidy, but unfortunately, it wasn't a non-smoking room. The hotel staff were very nice and friendly, making us feel welcome and well-taken care of. The location was excellent, near all the places I needed to go, which saved me from heavy traffic jams. However, there was some ongoing renovation noise near the town center. The dining experience was subpar as the food seemed to be pre-packaged and simply reheated. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few hiccups.
